Professor Kotov receives UNESCO Medal

We are proud to announce that Professor Kotov has received the prestigious UNESCO Medal for contributions to the development of nanoscience and nanotechnologies during a ceremony held at UNESCO headquarters, Paris. Congratulations!

For his work on biometric self-organization of Nano colloids, ultra-strong nanocomposites, tissue engineering with nanomaterials, and nanoscale drugs.

Langmuir Lecture Award

Prof. Kotov has been awarded the Langmuir Lecture for 2013.

The award is to deliver a plenary lecture in a special session of the Colloid and Surface Chemistry Division program at the 2013 Fall ACS Meeting to be held in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Joseph B. and Florence V. Cejka Professor

Prof. Kotov has been named the Joseph B. and Florence V. Cejka Professor of Engineering effective January 1, 2012.  Nick has won many awards, and the College's appointment of Nick as the Cejka Professor of Engineering is in recognition of those awards and his outstanding research.
